US President Donald Trump assured the H-1B visa holders on Friday that their administration will make such changes soon, giving them the confidence of staying in America and that would make them a potential route for citizenship. Most H-1B visa holders are IT professionals.

Trump tweeted on Friday that his administration is planning to make changes in American policies in the H-1B visa, and it will encourage talented and highly skilled people to pursue a career in America. Trump tweeted, "In the US, H-1B visa holders can be confident that the changes will happen soon so that you will be able to stop here and you will get the confidence. It will also open up the possibility of taking citizenship here. We will encourage talented and highly skilled people to pursue a career in America. "


Trump's tweet has come as good news for Indian professionals and especially IT professionals, who have to wait for almost a decade in getting a green card or permanent legal residence.

In the first two years of Presidential rule, the Trump Administration made it difficult for H-1B visa holders to stay, expand, and obtain new visas for longer periods of time. Indian IT professionals are very interested in H-1B visas. This is a non-immigration visa in which American companies employ foreign workers.
